Features
Instrument Refresher provides pilots with 24 lessons divided into four blocks
of learning: navigation, airwork, enroute procedures and instrument approaches.
These lessons cover approaches, holding procedures, unuasual attitudes, partial
panel, radio communications, steep turns and the proper use of NAVAIDs. A fifth
lesson block simulates and actual Instrument Proficiancy Check (IPC)
ASA's virtual instructor will evaluate the pilot's performance against the FAA
Instrument Rating Practical Test Standards, and provide feedback on how to execute
and improve the procedures. All of the approach charts and legends required
for the lessons are included. The photorealistic and aerodynamically accurate
Cessna 172, communication with ATC, and worldwide navigation database make you
feel like you are in actual conditions.
