Recently I purchased the Brightline bag to replace my VFR flight bag.
The Brightline is much smaller and compact than my flight bag and I was somewhat concerned that I would not have the necessary space for all my gear. But what became apparent is that I was carrying far too many items that were not being used or really necessary. So once I decided what items were important and needed to be included, the problem was resolved.
I really like the thought that went into the bag design such that there is a place for everything, and access is good. Very importantly, the bag takes up less room in the airplane
